UPDATE: In CD11, Andal takes in $104K in 1Q funds - short of McNerney's $330K

Republican Dean Andal, who is gearing up for what is expected to be a hard-fought race against Democratic incumbent Jerry McNerney in District 11, has raised almost $104,000 and has about $532,000 in cash on hand, his campaign is reporting in filings with the Federal Election Commission. Andal transferred $14,000 from a separate campaign account.

As of Tuesday afternoon, McNerney’s fundraising totals had not yet posted. At the end of the 2007 calendar year, McNerney, a first-term incumbent, had over $924,000 in cash on hand.

Andal, a businessman, is a former Member of the State Board of Equalization.
