As Republican rivals Doug Ose and Tom McClintock prepare for their debate at the Lincoln Club of Placer County in Rocklin this evening, PolitickerCA.com has obtained new radio and television advertisements from the Ose campaign that hammer McClintock.
Both advertisements feature a now-familiar line of attack from Ose: that McClintock, a veteran state legislator, is an out-of touch, lifetime politician.
The 30-second television spot focuses on McClintock’s history of reimbursements from the state for his home in Thousand Oaks. An announcer says, “He says he’s entitled to the money. 22 years in office will do that!” Then Ose says, “That’s just wrong.”
In the 1-minute radio advertisement, McClintock’s payments are again the focus, with an announcer saying, “While Tom McClintock has been living like a king, he’s been telling us to tighten our belts. 22 years in office will do that.” The spot has a king saying “Pile high my plate! Pile high, I say!”
The Ose campaign has not yet provided details into where in the Roseville-area district the spots will be running or for that matter the size of the buy.
But Ose’s new advertisements leave little mystery as to how he will target his Republican opponent Wednesday evening.
UPDATED: The Ose campaign says the ads will begin airing today throughout the district.

Charlie Brown could use it.
Dear Ose Campaign,
I like Ose because of his support to fight illegal immigration, his ties to our region thus giving him a better insight as to what our area is facing; such as growth, farming, and funding of faith-based organizations, he is also an advocate of reducing taxes and government accountability but the attacks seems so blatant, kinda slimy, and uncharacteristic of such a great person with the message of bringing america forward. Let's be less dramatic please, it's turning people off.
GO OSE!!
