McClintock unveils new Web site

Congressional candidate and state Sen. Tom McClintock (R-Thousand Oaks) unveiled a new campaign web site this week, and introduced it to supporters via e-mail Friday alongside an appeal for donations and a note about his new radio ad.

The overhauled site, which had few updates since McClintock's win in the June primary, features a blog of McClintock's activities, video and audio clips of campaign commercials, and other regular campaign site features.

It also notes a recent Pindell Report rating that rates the 4th Congressional District as a "likely Republican" seat for the fall race.

McClintock is running against Roseville Democrat Charlie Brown in a bid to replace retiring U.S. Rep. John Doolittle (R-Roseville).

Registration in the district heavily favors Republicans, though Brown narrowly lost a race to Doolittle in 2006.

McClintock will move from his Southern California base to represent the district if he wins.

What crap.

The first lie on his web page is that there is more oil off shore then under Saudi Arabia

The second lie is that it would go the American marked.
