The California Nurses Association has begun airing an ad in battleground presidential election states that suggests voters should be concerned about John McCain's health and Sarah Palin's ability to be president if he should die in office.
The ad, airing in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin, shows images of McCain and Palin alongside a graphic that suggests a heart monitor.
Several charges against Palin are flashed on the screen, including "Opposed ‘Bridge to Nowhere' then kept the taxpayers' money" and "Wants to teach creationism in public schools," alongside a women singing "one heartbeat away."
At the end of the ad, the association notes the commercial was not affiliated with any political campaign.
The Washington Post reported that a spokesman for the Republican National Committee called the ad offensive and filled with inaccuracies. The ad was scheduled to run Wednesday and Thursday and is not scheduled to air in California.

John McCain: Sick, old and lacks judgment or just doesn't care.
Yes Sarah Palin took the spot light and was a real celebrity for three weeks. But in the spotlight we saw her flaws.
Like believing that dinosaurs and men walked at the same time.
Like making woman pay for their own rape kits should they say they were raped.
Like thinking that if you can see a thing you can understand it, like Russia.
Like wanting to teach abstaining from sex as sex education, while her 17 yo daughter gets knocked up.
Like being a book banner. She fired a librarian who wouldn't do as she wanted her to. Then had to rehire her.
McCain is so lame he has taken to lying about her. Said she was an energy expert. Said he has sought her advice many times. She isn't and he didn't even know her six months ago.
And what is up with Sarah's husband? From 1995 to 2002 he was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party. This is a separatist party, as in un-American. Todd Palin is a big influence on Sarah and has been involved in the governance of Alaska to the point that the legislative investigation into the so-called Trooper Gate has issued an invitation to testify in that case.
