Could Pelosi's oil drilling opposition hurt her?

Recent national polling indicates that a large majority of Americans -- including a majority of Democrats and Independents -- support off-shore oil drilling. Of course House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) has nothing to fear in her Bay Area district, but as a national Democratic leader and one of the most vocal opponents of off-shore oil drilling, could this cause the approval ratings for her and her Congress to slip even further? A recent Rasmussen poll found that just 11 percent of voters think Congress is doing a good or excellent job.
