Cheney to join Lungren at Friday fundraiser
By Zach SilberVice President Dick Cheney will attend a fundraiser for Rep. Dan Lungren (R- Gold River) on Friday afternoon. The event, billed as "an evening of Western hospitality," according to the Sacramento Bee, will be held at a private residence in Wilton.
Lungren, a second term Congressman, is likely to face a 2006 rematch with Democrat Bill Durston in the November general election.
